This morning just as I heard that someone I knew had passed away because of the deadly virus, I knew that many such deaths would start taking place and those who were left behind and grieving, needed our comfort and solace…
What words of comfort can we give them?

Good one. It is a concern and an obligation.
So true Bobby, silence brings the message of God’s presence and comfort.

A very touching message
Just silent solidarity. If permitted, a heartfelt hug or holding of the person’s hand.
A prayer to comfort the comfort less in their grief! Stand by them in their sorrow.!
A silent presence is more comforting than words in deep grief.
A hug saying sorry with a prayer for the bereaved in our heart and being with them will touch them and feel they aren’t alone but have friends to talk to if they need to. Make some food for them to eat, juice to drink or coffee or tea.
Kind words are Benedictions.
In this world of indifference and aloofness, kind words will surely leave an indelible mark on the person’s heart.
Thanks Robert
